RA ECHO Curriculum
12 Weekly Sessions
Offered Twice a Year
via Zoom
RA echo is a three month long curriculum consisting of weekly hour long interactive sessions held via Zoom. Each ECHO video conference includes a brief high-yield didactic, followed by interactive case-based discussion led by a team of RA experts, including rheumatologists from UCSF and the Navajo area, pharmacists specializing in RA medications, and a Navajo cultural interpreter.

Participants who attend at least 9 out of 12 sessions and present 1 de-identified patient case for discussion receive an official Certificate of Completion for the RA training program from the American College of Rheumatology.

- Distinguishing RA from other forms of arthritis
- First-line therapy for RA
- What to do if first-line therapy fails
- Guidelines for safety monitoring while on RA therapy
- Specific considerations for managing RA on Navajo Nation
